Soldiers from 1 Army Air Corps have been presented with their Operational Medals in Gutersloh. The ceremony comes after a busy year with two squadrons completing their tours of duty. It was the first tour for fifty members of the Regiment. Troops in theatre flew the latest Lynx helicopters with their improved camera and gun systems. They escorted Chinooks and Merlins in and out of patrol bases, supported convoys and also provided assistance to troops on the ground when needed.
